CCS Calculator privacy policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Who we are
The calculator is operated by DB & MN INVESTMENTS trading as Enrolment Boost, ABN 28 612 346 942. It helps families estimate childcare costs and contact their selected centre. It is not a government service and does not determine your actual CCS entitlement.
For privacy questions, contact hello@enrolmentboost.com.au. Your centre also handles information under its own privacy policy. This policy covers the CCS Calculator, not every service on a centre's website.
Information collected
When you submit a calculator form, we save your contact details, submitted calculator answers and calculated estimate. Depending on what you enter, these include:
- Your name, email address, phone number and enquiry.
- Estimated family income and activity hours.
- Children's age groups, care types, fees and attendance arrangements.
- Whether there is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child in your family, and any Additional Child Care Subsidy circumstances you enter.
- Whether you are an existing family and answers to the centre's enquiry fields.
- Submission time, source page, browser information, session reference and the consent evidence supplied with the form.
We also handle centre-user account details, centre settings, subscription information and technical usage records. Hosting and security providers may process network identifiers such as IP addresses.
Please do not enter Centrelink reference numbers, tax file numbers, identity documents or medical records. Only provide information about your family that you are authorised to share.
Why information is used and who can access it
Submitted information is used to calculate and record your estimate, deliver requested information, allow the centre to respond to your enquiry, and operate and support the service. Centre account information is also used for sign-in, administration and billing.
Authorised centre users can access enquiries. Account owners may access centres within the same account. Enrolment Boost administrators can access records to administer and support the platform. Enquiries and estimate PDFs may also be sent to the centre's configured notification inboxes and the parent email address supplied.
A centre may keep separate email copies, exports and enrolment records. Contact that centre about how it handles those copies and any further use it makes of your information.
Family information and your choices
Some family answers, including Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander information and some additional-subsidy circumstances, may reveal sensitive information. The submission notice explains the information saved and asks for your agreement. Agreement is not permission for unrelated general marketing.
The current online flow requires contact details and agreement before displaying the result. If you do not want to submit your information, contact the centre directly to discuss fees and your options. Do not submit information about another person without appropriate authority.
Service providers and overseas processing
The platform uses the following providers for the listed functions. They do not all receive the same information. For example, Stripe handles centre billing, not the parent's calculator answers as part of the billing flow.
- Vercel: Application hosting and delivery, uploaded centre logos and technical logs.
- Neon: Database storage for centre settings, enquiries and estimates.
- Clerk: Centre-user sign-in, account verification and account security.
- Resend: Delivery of notifications and estimate emails, including attachments.
- Stripe: Centre subscription payments and billing.
Our connected Neon database project is hosted in Sydney, Australia. This does not mean all information stays in Australia. Sign-in, email, hosting, billing, support and subcontracted processing can involve overseas recipients, including in the United States. Stripe also operates internationally, including in Ireland. Provider operations and subprocessors can change; their linked privacy information explains their handling and international transfers.
These providers publish security and data-processing terms. Using them does not eliminate privacy risks or guarantee that the whole calculator is compliant with every privacy requirement.
Analytics and email preferences
The calculator records usage events. Where a centre configures Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, those services can receive usage and enquiry-event information and process it overseas, including in the United States. The centre's surrounding website may use additional cookies or tracking under its own notices. See Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.
Contact the centre about its marketing practices. Parent estimate emails include an unsubscribe option. Submitting another enquiry does not clear an existing calculator email unsubscribe. If an email copy is suppressed, your enquiry can still be saved for the centre and your on-screen estimate remains available.
Storage and retention
Access controls and protected account sign-in help safeguard information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Our intended review period for ordinary calculator enquiries is 12 months from submission. Automatic deletion is not currently enabled, and existing enquiries may remain stored beyond 12 months. You can contact us or your centre to request a review or deletion sooner.
Active enquiries, waitlists, complaints or legal record-keeping requirements may need different handling. Formal childcare enrolment records are separate from calculator enquiries. Deleting a calculator record does not automatically remove copies already emailed or exported by a centre, and recovery copies may remain until the provider's applicable history or backup period expires.
Access, correction, deletion and complaints
Email hello@enrolmentboost.com.au or contact your centre to request access, correct information, ask for deletion or raise a privacy complaint. Include the centre name and enough detail to identify your enquiry, without attaching unnecessary sensitive documents.
We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. We will consider the request, explain the outcome or next steps, and coordinate with the centre where needed. A deletion request may be limited by legal obligations or information held independently by the centre.
If your concern is not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about available complaint options.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Updating a policy does not retrospectively change the consent recorded for an earlier enquiry.
